Twenty-two students and teacher posed in the yard of the first Davidson School at 95th and Isabelle Road. This building burned down in 1915. The Boulder Valley Grange building, now called the Pleasant View Grange is visible in the background.

Primos Mill was the largest tungsten mill in the world during World War I. Foundations of the mill were still visible in 1993 on the west side of Peak to Peak Highway near where it intersects with Boulder County 124E. Shriber may have used this side to promote Boulder County. Shriber was the Superintendent of Schools in Boulder from 1909-1915.
